IBADAN CHIEFTAINCY MATTER.
The 8th day of April will go down in history as a remarkable day in the Chieftaincy Affairs Of Ibadanland.
After 3 crucial meetings within one week, we were able to find permanent solution to the various issues within the the Olubadan in Council .
1 ). The Olubadan designate has knocked the door and he will be nominated at their meeting on Thursday.
2 ). Baba Ladoja will withdraw the case he filed against the other members of the Olubadan in Council and the governor of Oyo state.
3 ). Baba Ladoja as the most senior high chief will call and preside over the meeting to nominate the next Olubadan of Ibadanland.
4 ). There will be no threat of removal of the crowns of the elevated high Chiefs or denial of the right of a non elevated chief from becoming Olubadan in future .
5 ) All members of the Olubadan in Council will henceforth be doing things in unison for the progress of Ibadanland.
Members of the Olubadan in Council showed uncommon love and respect for the wishes of the people of Ibadanland through out theduration of the meetings.
