Breaking! Edo deputy governor, Philip Shuaibu impeached.
The embattled Edo state’s deputy governor, Comrade Philip Shuaibu has been impeached by the state House of Assembly on Monday.
Earlier this week, the impeachment proceedings was at the climax which saw the state deputy governor being sacked in a dramatic vote out of his office.
The impeachment followed the adoption of the report of the seven-man investigative panel set up by the Assembly to probe allegations of misconduct against Shaibu.
